Benjamin Thomson – FND Managing Director
As a proud Wiradjuri man hailing from Sydney, raised on Darug Country, and now residing on Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi Country in Sunshine Coast, I am deeply connected to my indigenous roots. My bloodlines trace back to the Bila Galari (Upper Lachlan Rivers) within Wiradjuri Country in far west NSW before colonisation. Through my mother’s bloodline and through marriage, I carry the family names of Wedge, Coe, Ingram, Glass, and Williams.
From an early age, I was fortunate to attend an Aboriginal pre-school run by my family in Mt Druitt. This experience instilled in me a strong sense of belonging and pride in my heritage. Through sports and education, I quickly became aware of the disadvantages faced by Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities. Motivated by a desire to improve these statistics, I dedicated over 7 years of my life as a youth worker.

Clint Roche – FND Business Operations
I have been part of this journey since 2019 when Ben, Brett and I joined to form First Nation Defibs. Seeing the business grow and expand outside its original scope of supplying high quality medical equipment, it was evident that the company no long represented our future, First Nation Distributors emerged.
Spending 10 years as a career firefighter and 14 years in mining across Emergency Services, Health, and Safety in both the Government and Private sector. Experience gained over my 24 years allow me to communicate effectively with our clients.
I spend most of my free time mountain biking, outdoors or catching up with family and friends.
Mark Connor – FND Business Performance
I joined the FND team in 2023 to assist Ben in driving organisational alignment and high-level execution, with the aim of enhancing supplier and client relationships and financial outcomes.
Being organised, efficient and professional have been my drivers for success across multiple industries, over many years.
I am a qualified pharmacist by trade and bring to FND over 25 years of experience as a business owner in the Pharmacy, Fitness, Furniture and Clothing industries.
Personally, I enjoy spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching all sports, AFL being my real passion.
